Psa and crohns disease

Hi, I am not new to healing well as I have been on the crohns board
Of this website, as I have crohns disease, my psa has risen
The last 2 years and I was wondering, if anybody on
This board knows if there is a correlation between having crohns
And elevated psa,, my psa 3.8 free psa 20
Went to urologist digital exam was normal, but he did digital exam
Prior to take blood test psa, I asked him about crohns and psa
He said no correlation, but I have read constipation will also elevate psa
Thanx for listening, any help greatly appreciated
Naturally uro wants to do biopsy, I am thinking of doing
Doppler color video ultrasound first

Got a guy in my PCa seminars group, whom is into year 14+ with PCa, failed Lupron years ago, also had Crohns issue. Well he was put onto Leukine injections since Lupron was ineffectiv in controlling his psa and disease progressions, and it is working 4+ years later and still working and he claims little side effects, luckily his insurance covers the expensive drug, but you can buy it from Canada for like $3500 for 10 self injections (you refrigerate it to keep it good).

Anyway it is known and worked in his case, the Leukine can cure Crohns disease, mentioned by Dr. Myers in PCRI videos too. So, if you didn't know this can work and their is another new drug out for Crohns, maybe it is similarly based medicine.

As for a corollation between the two, heck I don't know, I don't know squat about Crohns, but thought you might find this of interest. A PCa drug and other cancers drug, that happened to cure another scenario in a patient....this is interesting. Even if you have PCa perhaps you have an indolent or non agressive version and have many options. Best to you.

If your doctor did a digital exam prior to your blood test this would elevate your PSA. Especially if he did it immediately before drawing your blood. With a free psa of 20% there is still a fair chance you have an infection. I would wait 4 to 6 weeks and get the PSA checked again before getting to anxious.
