I have a step daughter and a son that have both been accepted into medical School!

My Son has been accepted into Cornell University Medical School NYC Starting Aug 19, 2011!

My step daughter has been accepted into Loma Linda University Medical school Starting Aug, 4, 2011 plus she is getting married on July 19!

My wife and I are thrilled for both of them. So we have two children that will hopefully be graduating in the medical school class of 2015! We are just hoping that they don't end up with Graduation dates on the same day! I doubt that will happen since starting at slightly different times but a trip to NYC and California in One day is probably impossible!

Time will tell on their speciality areas though one is thinking surgery and the other neurology.

Wow! That is quite an accomplishment!
It will be interesting to see how medicine changes by the time they graduate.

you must be so proud, my youngest son starts paramedic school at UT Southwestern here in north Texas which is where I will have pc surgery next month. wonderful to see young people setting a goal and pursuing it.

Larry,

Congratulations to the proud parents!  Considering that only about 2% of those who apply to Medical School get accepted, this is a great accomplishment for two of your family members to get in.

My daughter graduated earlier this month from Medical School at University of Washington, and is now doing a 3-year residency in Family Medicine.

Larry you have every right to be excited and proud. That is a pretty significant accomplishment for the two of the. Which side of the family had the brains and which side had the looks?

Congratulations to the two of them! You have to be very proud.
Our oldest son just got his Critical Care Nurse Practitioner degree and accepted a position with the trauma team in Tuscon, at the University Medical Center, that took care of Gabby Giffords. We love to see our kids do well.
