Hi guys,

I have been absent a while- but watching the forum.

I had surgery in april  09, SRT in May/June of 2010 and now my PSA is on the rise again - went from 1.3 to 2.9 in slightly less than 3 months. I decided to move from the Urologist to a Medical Oncologist at the Cancer Center of Maine in Brewer, Maine - and I am happy with my new Doctor - She had me do a CT scan and Bone scan over the lst few weeks  - no evidence of mets - except a worrisome spot in my right hip - which I had x-rayed again yesterday. My Doctor thinks I should start HT next week - I am meeting with her on Tuesday. She does Casodex and Lupron - I plan to ask for Avodart as well. So another chapter begins.....

Anyone on HT also taking levothyroxine. If so does the Lupron affect the dosgae of Levothyroxine??

Good to hear from you, Tim.

Sorry your PSA is on the move again, I know the feeling. Good luck as you now go down the HT path, certainly hope you react well to it, and it can keep your cancer in check.

Good to hear from you Tim and wish the news was a little better. I cant answer your question, but wish you the best and keep us posted. If you can push some cool weather southbound.

It's been hot here (80's) until today- 54 when I got up this morning - feels good - come on up!
