Are Injections Painfull

can anyone tell me about injections are they as pain full as it sounds

No. Once you get over the very natural "stick a needle in there???!!!" issue, most feel only a slight prick, or nothing at all.

An auto-injector (spring loaded needle) helps too. My wife, a non-nurse, did mine and they didn't hurt her a bit :-)

I agree 100% with the above comments, once you get over the idea of sticking yourself there it really is not a big deal. Plus the benefit once you do inject makes it all worth the little stick. I have been on trimix for 4 months now works every time and now on an ever decreasing dosages and becoming more responsive to the oral meds.

Have to disagree slightly chaps
I persevered with the injections for 6 months or so and it got progressively worse for me (1st time was a breeze)
This was despite seeing the ed nurse several times to go through the process.

It worked for me at best 1 out of 4, rest of the time just pain and one occasion a blue lump (bruising my urologist said)
Everyone is different of course, it just didnt do it for me.
I'm on to the muse now, much less painful and nearly have the dosage sorted.

Piano says it didn't hurt my wife a bit.  Now that's funny ****.  Reminds me of an old story my dad told about catching a hornet without being bit:

"You sneak up behind the hornet while it's in the sitting position.  Cup both hands together and gently place around the hornet so not to injure it.  I will guarentee the hornet will make no attempt to bite."

Think a second and I'm sure you will get the humor. 

For some reason the needle thing reminds me of the hornet story.  Thanks for a good chuckle....

I was more nervous then the pain itself... very minor but my hand was shaking alot had to calm down anticipating it would hurt alot each time i did it or worried I would hit a vein.... But as my doc said and he was right for me... the more i did it the better the rehab for it was.  It got the blood flowing and muscle working...two times a week....

I battled through the mental game of it and benfitted greatly from them where I dont need to do them anymore just have oral med's...
