Viagra response

I have heard that Viagra should cause a stuffy nose and flushed skin to the face. I have experienced that when I tried Viagra prior to my RRP to see how I would respond to it, and I experienced both. I have just thought about it and I do not have that response now, and no other response either to the Viagra.

Is the flushing and congestion an absolute that it is working?

I had no response to all big 3 oral drugs after RP.

I started trimix and got good results (and an ER visit for priapism). After some months of trimix, in ever decreasing doses, I found that oral drugs were starting to work.

I now cut a 20 mG Levitra in 4 and that seems to be more than enough...and often without any meds, too.

In my case, I believe trimix gave me a bit of a jump start. Hope it does for you, too.

I still get the congestion and flushing in varying degrees. But, it's better than it was.

I take Viagra just about every day. I can feel it working, I cant recall ever noticing any side effects ever.

8 weeks post surgery for me and daily 5mg Cialis and 100mg Viagra have done nothing. I used Viagra 25mg pre surgery because of blood pressure meds and got rock hard every time and did not have any of the side effects like flushing or headaches. Post surgery with either Cialis or the Viagra I didn't notice any difference side effects wise.

My Uro gave me samples this week of 100mg MUSE and I got about a 50% erection and looks like I will try the TRIMIX injections next week to get things jump started. Both of my nerve bundles were spared and my Uro is surprised that the oral meds did not work at all, but he did tell me to be more patient. He told me that if the TRIMIX injections work they will most likely be a short term solution until my nerves get fully recovered and kick in so to speak when oral pills should work again for me.

My experience was that the 3 orals did nothing for me in the early post-op period, but Viagra to a small extent and Levitra to a much larger extent started working after about 6-8 months.  Never did the injectables.  Now, coming up on 3 years out, Levitra and a ring work quite well.  So, I believe its worth repeated trials at various points on the timeline.
