Hi Abaa.......I'm a David Lee alumnus. I'm 2 1/2 years post surgery via Davinci, with a PSA of <0.1 (undetectable) so far. I was, for all intents and purposes, continent at about
3 months post surgery, perhaps even a little before that. I had ED for months, but started to show signs of life around the 8-9 month mark, and continued to improve steadily after that. I used Viagra quite liberally on Lee' s advice, and continue to use it today. It's hard to tell just what % of erectile function I've recovered, because I have hormnal issues that cloud the picture, which may or may not be related to surgery. But I can tell you that when I do have erections, they're pretty close to what I had before, and definitely can be used for penetration. ...........Lee is extremely good at what he does. I also was very well cared for at Penn Presbyterian. I think you're in very good hands should you decide to stick with him as your surgeon...there are 3-4 other guys on this forum who have had Lee do their surgery. Hopefully they'll chime in. While I'm sorry that you've been diagnosed at such a young age, your age should work in your favor on the recovery side of the equation. Stay in touch on this forum for some very good advice and support from all members.
