The trial of a new drug for treating advanced prostate cancer (bone mets) has been so successful that it has been stopped. i.e. Stopped for a good reason to allow others to benefit from it (especially those in the control group who were just taking the palcebo).

Yes, I hope they approve it for use here in the US soon. My dad has advanced prostate cancer with a great deal of mets to the bone. Diagnosed in April, but so far hormone therapy seems to be working, but how wonderful it would be if they found a new treatment for it.
