Update Avastin phase2 trial for bcr

First of all congrats on the PSA!  I know the SE's of lupron, what were the SE's of the Avastain or did it all seem to be wrapped up in one?

What's the protocol for the Avastain, do you receive it daily, weekly, monthly or what and for how long?

Chemo was iv every 3 weeks for 8 infusions.

side effects are usually bleeding, nose, stomach, intestines. brain :(.
Sometimes perforations,high blood pressure .
Plus the usual adt side effects.

I had nose bleeds very mild stopped now. High blood pressure, normal now.

Other than low energy low T I'm doing good.

Gerry thanks for reporting on it. I have heard of some good news with Avastin and hormone refractory PCa. Yet another drug showing promise. I was shown a presentation with Avastin in combination with prednisone and docetazel. So I assumed the first study. But if Avastin with ADT2 can deliver the good results without docetazel, then all the better. You already mentioned the chemo side effects above...
