Went to the urologist yesterday since I have to urinate so often that I have to stop during tennis games and go to the bathroom and it seems to be getting worse, also the ED problem is no better.  Well first of all after a few tests the doc told me that since the radiation my bladder is half the size it was prior to radiation, it would have been nice if someone told me this before but he said everything is fine I would just have to live with it.  I was relieved because I was afraid of cancer spreding to my bladder.  Regarding the ED he said to try EDEX i went back to some posts here on EDEX and they were not good some say very painful and does not always work.  My main problem is lost of libido does it help with this or does it just give you an erection?  Has anyone had success with this stuff?

Next PSA on Wednesday already worried.

Lost of guys say Edex caused an ache. I am one of the lucky guys that I do not have that problem.. The stuff works GREAT for me.

As for the libido mmmm don't think the Edex will fix that unless you give the shot to you brain..: Just a joke.. Libido is almost complete a thought process and I am talking about the large brain not the small on.

Good luck with the Edex who know when you have that stick up you may well get motivated. If you have questions about it shoot me an email.. The link is open in my profile,.

Edex is another name for alprostadil also known as prostaglandin.  It is marketed in injectable form as Caverject. It also has a pellet (suppositary) form called Muse.  Many users find that they get serious  pain and have stopped using it. 

Injections work well for most men (Me too).  I tried Caverject and then went to BIMIX which does not have the alprostadil, so there is no pain at all.  Some men now use TRIMIX which includes a smaller portion of the alprostadil.  The other two parts of bimix/trimix are papavarine and phentolomine.

Good luck I have been using bimix successfully for 4 years now.

I have tried the MUSE and that one was real bad for me..I was on fire it hurt so bad. As I have said the Edex or alprostadil does not give me any pain. I also have tried BiMix and TriMix. All work about the same for me.

Edex is used by the VA. I have heard of very few people saying it hurt. Initially I was frightened at the thought of injecting my penis but after all is said and done it is a wonderful thing for me. I thought I was going have to go without for the rest of my life. Good Luck to you Jerry1 and all the people on this form.
