He found me on FT and we exchanged some info and I recommended that he check out HW. This is what he posted in the first post on a thread that I started about looking for a Doc in Baton Rouge Area.


Hey Jeff and Ron,
I just now registered on Healing Well for the first time so I could thank you for the doc's name at Tulane. Hopefully I can hook up with him and start getting this thing fixed.

Sorry ytou have to join us, but there are alot of great men that are so unselfish with their time and knowledge on Prostate Cancer. Please feel free to ask as many questions because someone will know the answer. There are friends all over this world that particpate so we get great information not only from the good ol USA but from Europe as well.

Hey Steve,

Welcome to the best website for PCa.  I really was reluctant when I first searched the site, but now it is like an old friend.

Just left NOLA, Natchez (wife's class reunion), Covington, then back to NOLA for flight to Erie, Pa., and back to reality.

Best of luck to you, and remember these folks have a lot to offer in the way of experience.

Many thanks to all of you for the very warm welcome. Yes, I am another Corvette driver down in New Orleans.

I was able to schedule an appointment on Tuesday the 25th with a Dr. that Water Guy referred me to. Hopefully he'll be able to get me fixed up.

Hey Steve, welcome, (well sorta as NOBODY really wants to be here). Things hopefully are going good for you as your attention is now being given to the "QOL" issues that we all have to some extent after our treatment. Getting rid of any kind of cancer seems to have some trade offs.  Hopefully you can get some help to get back some.
