I've been released to go back to work next week after 6 weeks of recovery with no restrictions. Recovery continues to go well, I'm still staying dry all night, I even spent several nights without any pad with no leakage. It was nice to let old willy air out down below. I'm using 1 pad in a 24 hour period even while increasing activies. Still some dripping and spurts later in the day as the sphincter gets tired or at times when coughing or sneezing. My surgeons nurse advised keeping up with the kegels and increase them throughout the day while sitting, standing or driving in the car etc. which have helped with the incontinence. My urine stream continues to get stronger and larger as my Urologist advised. I've increased my exercise by walking 3 miles in the morning and another 1 1/2 miles in the afternoon along with any shopping or walking around the house. I got out a few days last week to clean up both cars inside/out and got out yesterday to cut the grass in the yard on the riding mower, then trimmed and edged the yard.
I have not been prescribed any ED drugs, but the soldier has been standing to attention on his own since surgery a few times with the the catheter in and then increased after having the catheter removed. Next step is to try to have a romantic evening with my wife and give willy a work out. I go back to have my first PSA testing in February (4 months Post-Op).
Thanks again to everyone here on the forum for your support.
