I have been lurking around this forum for over two years since I had my prostate surgery in 2007, but now that I have a differnt problem, I thought I would ask a question. about
4 years ago, during a routine exam, the doc found a lump on my testicle. I went for an ultra sound and it was found to be a benign cyst called a spermatocele. The uro said you can have surgery to remove it, but it isn't necessary because it is benign and it can't hurt you, so just leave it alone. Well, now, that cyst has grown to about
1 1/2" in diameter and it is as if I have a third testicle in my scrotum because it is so big. There is no pain with it, but it is getting very uncomfortable because my scrotum is so full. I have plans to get another ultra sound , and this time I will tell the uro that I want surgery to remove it.
My question here is if anyone else has had a lump on the testicles and had it removed and what can I expect as to pain afterward from testicle surgery?
