Update 2 TRT Treatment from sickofbeingsic

Hope all are having a wonderful holiday week.
I promised my friends that I would post updates.
As you may have read from my first update.
I was given a 400mg shot of Cypionate on Dec. 2nd 1 week later my blood test results were T level was from 4.0 to 1372 PSA undetectable Estrogen within limits.
The following Monday another blood test was taken and T level was 897 (dropped 475 in 1 week half life sucks) PSA undetectable.
Next Monday 50mg injection to try and maintain at least 800 +-
Last Blood test showed T level at 700 and PSA undetectable and estrogen level within limits.
My doctor decided to trust me and we agreed to 50mg per week ( may change to 75mg if needed) to maintain 800 range and take blood every 2 weeks so he finally prescribed the Cypionate as well as the needles so my wife could administer weekly.
If anything needs adjustment, then it will show up soon.
After 6 to 8 weeks I will be comfortable with Blood test every 3 months if all #s are stable.
The doctor is so proud so far for taking the chance and it may be working.
My energy level has multiplied by at least 10. I feel like I did 2 years ago for the most part (still some frequency problems and still having trouble controlling the emotions). I can tell the HT is still in my system for sure. Last Saturday could not stop the tears for about 6 hours and still don't know why

My libido is rapidly returning and I am not looking at girls like they were friends anymore. I am desirous of the the possibility of seeing the female anatomy again finally.
I figure another month and I will be dangerous LOL.

It will also take a while to get my strength back as well. my energy level is still very low and I am limited on the type of exercise due to the back problems.

I am being very cautious at this point and not anticipating any problems or at least I hope none will surface.

Again, I am not trying to influence anyone or get anyone to change or modify treatment based on my decision to proceed with this treatment.

Good to hear, Art........as you may remember, I finally dialed in a regular dose of 50mg Test. Cyp every 5 days after experimenting with 200 mg and 100 mg doses every 2 weeks and 10 days, respectively. It took a while, but the delivery is very even now. Keeps it @800 consistently. I have no problem with the self-admistered needles. They are bigger than the ones used with the Trimix and Bimx injections that a lot of guys use, but a needle in the thigh or buttocks is no big deal. Keep us posted on your progress and symptoms. In additon to your T, free T and estradiol, you might want to persuade the dcotor to check DHT and SHBG as well.-Good luck
