zero club membership - postive margins -

I went off to the big city of Toronto for my yearly physical ( all the blood work was done in May) - and the numbers were all good.

PSA <0.02 undetectable - so still a member of the Zero Club ( PSA <0.10 - there is no such thing as an absolute zero)

The Bad Cholesterol is in range 1.86 - and due to my lack of libido and lethargy I had my testosterone levels checked - testosterone 10.0 and free testosterone was 61.1 (never knew there was a "free" type before - just as I never knew about "free PSA" before coming to HW).
Due to my weight gain, will be going back to check cholesterol levels in 6 months - and with a decrease in my weight - I don't want to mess up what the statins ( lipitor) is doing.

Just realized that next week - November 18 - is the 2nd year anniversary of my RP.
It is a good feeling to be in the Zero Club even though having positive margins in my path report.

When I first came on HW - I got a few "oh I'm sorry" from members when they saw my report... so this is a good reminder that everyone is different and each body responds differently - even with similar stats.

I am a fan of anti-oxidents, olive oil, pom juice, soy beverage and reduction of red meat and dairy products.
Whatever makes you feel empowered can help physically as well as mentally.

For the great majority who are already non-smokers, dietary choices and physical activity are the most important modifiable determinants of cancer development and progression. Great to hear that you "get it" and are doing your part to "stack the odds in your favor."

postive margins can run 2 directions, fortunately for you, you are on the good side of them, hope it stays that way for you.

Way to go Bronson. And you are right ----- each of us are different and the course of the disease is different. I guess it's a case of "you pays your money and takes your chances"

That is great news, kinda mades us feel like a mechanical bear target in a shooting gallery, keep on dodging them bullets. I have been putting off my 1 1/2 year psa and now I am at the 2 year mark, I guess I need to see what is going on and get it done.
