Just saw this and I'm hoping that Todd is packing some heat on his trip.

"Some 200 SWAT officers, police and rangers at Mount Rainier National Park in Washington state were searching Monday for an Iraq War veteran suspected in the killing on Sunday of a ranger".

As of noon, it will still take awhile to safely get to the body.  He is a suspect in the shooting of 4 others at a party hours before.  Sounds like a real disturbed individual.  Local news reports that anti-gun types are calling on a repeal of the law allowing guns in National Parks.  It would not have stopped this guy.  However, a gun could have saved the guy who was killed in Olympic National Park two years ago by a not so friendly mountain goat.  Sorry - different forum,,,,

Granted that this is off-topic.

Discussing gun control goes political.

Let's expect Todd to post on his weekend with mountains and Trimix when he gets home.
