Tailbone Discomfort

Guys, had my surgery almost a week ago and now and seem to be getting some discomfort in my coccyx (tailbone) area. Is this normal? If so, how long does it take to go away? I don't think it's from sitting on my butt that much because I do try to walk fairly frequently.
