Still in the Club

Getting the latest results from my uro's office was like pulling teeth, but just found out the results of the PSA test I gave blood for last week.  Thankfully, I'm still at <0.01. 

I feel a little guilty posting this after reading Bud's (Raddad's) post today.  I tried to keep calm about this one, and did until a week passed with no phone call.  I must have burned the ears off the answering service lady, 'cause someone called from the uro's office at 7:15, long after closing time, to give me the results.

So, I'll take these results, and I'll continue to pray that all our numbers trend downwards.  Best wishes to all here on HW, and I guess drinks are on me tonight.  Bill

- congrats on the Zero Club Membership - ( PSA <0.10 - there is no such thing as an absolute zero)

- here's to a lifetime of zero's and celebration

-and here's to adding a no-guilt clause

- we have different/same stats which can lead to different/same treatments which results in different/same post-op reports ... and so on ....

- celebrate the successes ( like the ZCM ) which can give hope to others
- support and celebrate those around us who may not be as fortunate ....

- we are in this battle together....

Hi Bill,

You and my husband both had surgery in 8/10.  He also just got his 18 month psa back and he also retains his membership in the Zero Club. Congratulations to you both!  And ,yes, waiting to hear the results is never easy.  Hopefully, we'll hear good results from the rest of the August Club.

Congratulations to you too! Lovely to hear from another member of the August club..

Paul has his psa test in 3 weeks (he is in a six month testing schedule now). I am very nervous as this is the longest he has been without a test. But the nice thing is that 5 months have gone by with not too many worries about prostate cancer.

Hello to friends An and Renee!  An, please let us know Paul's results.  I have never started a thread here!  So when Ron's results come in, I post it somewhere else.

It's nice when the August Surgeries club members show up!  I will never forget that period in our lives when we needed this forum so much AND made good friends along the way!  Ron still has the painful, dull pain on his testicle.  No cancer diagnosed.  He is thinking about seeing a specialist at the Cleveland Clinic.

Bill, you know Ron is in the same situation as you and he says not to give up!
