I have mentioned before that estradiol patches or DES, estradiol gels or emcyt and likely either tamoxifen or relaxofene added to your LHRH drug (Lupron etc.), will help cancel the side effects of the LHRH drug and also assist your bone density and fight hrpca at the same time, and thus improve your lowering into psa numbers. I highly suggest you find a doc to let you try it and see for yourself via psa testings and how your feel, the estrogenics work quickly on your system, I had lupron still in me (active) and with days the DES canceled the side effects and tested with 14 days big drop in psa and in my case stabilized psa for years thereafter. I have a link to the 2003 Journal of Urology article on findings about
DES, amazing they published it in there Journal with alot of researchers findings.
Now if you take these estrogenics later in the game, vs. more early on they may not work as well or as long in patients, as seen in some others. You should be hopefully looking at all your possible options, see www.hrpca.org and look into newletters on line pdf files at www.paactusa.org (free).
Just trying to give ideas and maybe helpful on this for yourself or others, you decide of course, but you also posed the question and so got a response.
Good hunting in this.
