How do you know if enough time has elapsed for HT to be effective?

One last note - John's doc said he would be on hormone therapy for the rest of his life.

Hope4thebest... My husband's oncologist also stated the same thing to him. THAT is a tough pill to swallow when you're still battling just to get stablized.
