Had my second PSA test done. Doctor said results are ZERO. Doctor was pleased of how fast at my age, became fully continent (pretty much a week after catether out). Life is good.

Congratulations.... I'm very new to the Zero club and and hope we both stay members for a long time! What a reality check every time I get on this website.... I tell everyone to get checked and know that because of my diagnosis just 5 months ago I've talked at least 5 to go get their psa checked. I never knew what "psa" was 5 months ago! Thanks again to my doctor that thought at age 40 and then again at 44 to check my psa, waiting to 50 would not have been good for me. Very thankful to be apart of this club and I pray for all those trying to get in! Jeff

And you know the irony. I was diagnosed last July, and Medicare now denied payment of the PSA test as "not medically necessary." They also denied the second PSA test in October just before surgery as "no medically necessary." Well I am glad my doc deemed it necessary.

Great to have that kind of news. Here's to many more. Today is the anniversary of my first physical in 20 yrs. The dr. (who I really like) sat down after his exam and said, "your healthy as a horse but look at this" that's when he showed me the PSA 28. He told me that 50% of Dr.'s don't think that PSA's were relevant but that he didn't believe that. I'm thankful for that. It was the same day that he got me in to see the Uro. We waited 2 weeks then did the test again. Same number. Since then, every male that I know has requested a PSA test. :):) By the way, do I get to join the zero club? In the last year I feel like I earned Membership.

Gentlemen, time to celebrate once again. I just got my results from the one year PSA. It is undetectable. I give thanks to the L'rd and wish that everyone gets the same results. I am now starting the PSA checks every six months instead of every three. Thank you all for your kind support.
