When I said "all the rest" I meant all of the other things going on. How could you possibly get any rest in Charleston? smilewinkgrin

First of all , happy anniversary to you and yours and really hope you enjoy your weekend away - you certainly deserve it!

I'll be checking in on Wednesday evening in the hope that your meeting goes well and you get some positive answers.

I'll leave you with the thought that:

how good it will be, as you get in your new luxury car (and Americans sure know how to make 'em) faced with a journey away to meet with your family - staying in lovely hotel and eating delicious food, and finishing with a stroll along the beach with your good lady - in the setting sun!

The 38 roses gives it away - you're an old romantic.

thanks, chris and chris and 142 and rob and mal. we all need a holiday from time to time. my poor wife (the nurse) is close to the breaking point with all her hours.

I truly admire your ability to remain sanguine with upcoming test results. I have not gotten close to reaching such a nirvana. Maybe some day!

Wish I could bottle it sometimes and share it, lol. I am that way with everything. I have a knack of staying emotionally and mentally neutral most all the times. I never get over joyed, or utterly sad, stay about right in the middle of things. And I am not, nor have ever been a worrier. I find worry to be an utter futile exercise, as it helps nothing. With these tests, and trust me, I know what bad numbers can mean, it will be what it is, on its own merit. So why fret or worry or be overly concerned? In my 30 plus years in the financial, IT, and accounting world, I was always being paid for being a problem solver. I was never in the blame game, just had to come up with fixes for whatever was wrong. We are all so different in how we think, how we solve things, and we analyize the events in our lives. This PC battle, is just one more event in my personal life. If I win, I win, if it takes me out, it was meant to be. It's that simple to me.

Thanks for the advice and support you have offered me in the past few weeks.

I wish you lots of luck with your test on Wednesday (will think of you as my hubbie has his first PSA test since RARP in January on Tuesday). I do hope it slows down or levels off (or drops) for you and that they can do something about the pain.

You sound like a wonderful man and your wife is a lucky woman.

Have a great wedding anniversary and try to keep your eyes on your wife in Charleston!
