Warren Buffett, 81 years old, investor announced he will be treated for "stage 1" prostate cancer using beam radiation...

If nothing else, this will give PC a lot of publicity..

I would think at 81 they would just take a wait and see approach. He might have the same doctors I have.

Buffett has investors to think of. He needs to get tests and treatments that make his investors comfortable about his longevity. So he won't be a "poster-child" for the most effective or wisest way to treat PCa.
