Kathy,
We are enjoying Jeff and Pat's hospitality, and a few Pom-based libations, which may not do anything for our health, but certainly improve one's attitude.
As I was reading your thread, I think back to my PCa "experience". I had no choice to deal with everything, since there is only me, no wife, no ex, no kids ....
What he doesn't realize, and I don't think you can tell him, is that he is extraordinarily fortunate.
Bud is sitting here, and sends you hugs. Bud tells me that he had a hard time accepting help from his wife and daughters until he got his male ego (stupidity?) out of the way. I was not so fortunate as to have had the opportunity.
I'm not sure that I can or should do anyhing more or less than the same, as I could only speak for my experience. I know that PCa is hard, or maybe worse, on the family. We males seem to have the innate ability to aggravate those who try to help us, while needing the help that we push away.
I can only tell you that we are thinking about both of you, and sending our best wishes.
