PSA 9 months out from seeds

I had a routine physical this past week and I asked them to check my psa. I was not due to have it checked for another couple of months. It was 3.2

My last reading at the end of February was 3.9, so although not a big drop, I'm heading in the right direction.

Gleason 6 - here's to lower numbers each time you are tested - go for the low !!

sounds good to me, and in line with "seed" psa drops. hope you continue that downard drop.

Falling numbers is good. I'd take it as a good sign.

G6, that continues the good trend so you should feel great about this. Mine is still dropping after 3 years so it may take some time for yours to reach the magic nadir.

G6, congrats brother. In today's economy this is a great number to see on a downward trend. LOL

Good to see another seeds "brother" dropping. July is my 6 month followup testing, and also hoping to see another drop.

 Here are my PSA results for comparison purposes-

March 2009-   3.57

May 2009- Seeds

Nov 2009- 1.91

May 2010- 1.14

Nov 2010- 2.49   - possible PSA bounce

March 2011- 1.91

Sept  2011- 1.20

April  2012- 1.06

That is good news and the trend is your friend! The PSA decrease is not linear and, from what I learned, we can even experience a bounce back around one year.  Not everyone has it, but, if we were to plot the PSA decrease curves of men who had radioactive seed implants more likely we would see various slopes.
