numbness on face, also muscle ache from possibly zytiga.

Hi: My husband has advanced prostate cancer with mets in bones all over his body. He has been experiencing numbness in his bottom lip, the oncologist thinks it's because of the mets that are in his chin and face. Has anyone ever had this happen or has heard of it. It's not painful just annoying. He has also had a lot of muscles problems we think probably side effect of taking zytiga. Has anyone else had this happen and what do they do for the muscle ache as sometimes it's quite painful. He is taking morphine, but doesn't seem to work on the muscle pain.
He notices it is worse when he is cold or when it's going to rain so could be arthritis related. We really don't know just , if anyone has any advise all is welcome.

I am almost in the same spot , Advanced prostate cancer with bone scan showing it from the hips to the skull . I am on the fentynl patch for the cosntant pain . The numbness in the lower lip comes and goes and have never got a clear dignosis on it , I had it prior to any treatment for the cancer and the numbness seems to be pretty low on list of concerns by the oncologist.The pain increases as the weather turns bad but i also have ankylosing spondyitis . I know i am not any real help except that you are not alone.
