Side effects of ED medication

16 months post surgery I've been trying a variety of ED medications

Viagra-Gave me a migraine which lasted for hours

Cialis- Back pain so severe, I couldn't walk unless I used a cane. Even then I couldn't walk around the block.

Levitra- Nose so stuffed I had difficulty breathing at night. Had to wake up multipe times to use nose drops.

Am I the only one out there that has to chose between awful side effects in order to use ED medication?

No.

Viagra gives me a severe case of "blue vision", Cialis a mild backache, Levitra does nothing at all.

Since I live on allegra and nasonex for a lifetime of sinus issues, if those are an SE, I'm already prepped for them.

I've been on 5mg Cialis daily for over 2 years.

We choose what we want to accomplish, and live with the consequences.

have you considered taking injections for your ED, as opposed to the pills? Many men here have great success with the injections, and are well versed in what to use, how to use it, etc.

I used bi-mix successfully for 4 months. Then I started experiencing failure with injections went to a full needle, nothing. Ordered a new batch of bi-mix, and no response with the new batch.

Went for a consult at UCSF. They tried tri-mix. Tthe first dose was extremely painful, and didn't work at all. There was no way I was going to increase the dosage of tri-mix so I gave up injecting. I get a better response with Livitra at this point that I did with penile injections.

Viagra gives me a stuffy nose and headache.

Cialis had no SE's for 4 weeks then I developed neoropathy in both legs. Stopped it and the neuropathy went away over about 2 months (this is the second med in my life to have the neuropathy reaction)

Have not tried Levitra yet.

All your SE's sound like common possible affects from the drugs.

When I mentioned similar SE's for the ED meds, my URO said: "Then...stop taking them."
