Went to see the URO for my 12 week follow up post RALP and my PSA was still undetectable, this time with the more sensitive test! Next step, I go to see the RAD ONC on the 31st to get started on my adjuvant radiation. Wish me luck.

Turner, congrats on the zero, you didnt post your stats, so i must ask, why do you need immediate radiation if you are a "zero"?

First let me say that I'm sorry to hear you are taking a sabatical from HW. Your advice is always good and your warmth comes through. Good luck on your journey.

My post op Pathology puts me a a t3 because of seminal vesicles involvement. My Uro and my Rad Onc believe that adjuvant radiation will give me a better chance of not having a reccurence.

Oh and my stats didn't come through because I forgot to click the include signature button :-)

that makes perfect sense. just couldn't remember your particulars, everyone does it different - but i find including my stats all the time make it easier for someone to understand my posts a bit better. too many guys and too many stats for this guy to remember by heart, lol.

Sounds like you're making progress. The SRT isn't the most fun in the world but you can get through it.

Congrats and wish you many more zeros to come. Hubby finished SRT a couple of months ago. His only complaint was an increase need to go to the bathroom. Everyone is different but am hoping for the best for you.

Turner, Congrats on the Zero!!! My Uro and RO wanted the same as you, ART. But, research indicated that the difference between ART and SRT success rate was about the same, so decided to leave that arrow available IF needed and not possibly do RT unnecessarily. We are all different and have to make our own decisions, and I certainly respect yours. Was just wondering how you decided between ART and SRT. Thanks.
