Sonny, I have been away and have only now been able to read your post. I've not read any of the three pages which follow, the tears in my eyes stop me, and I'm trusting to my touch typing to tell you how truly sorry I am to hear this sad, sad news.

It is such a paradox. The pain of knowing bonus days are numbered is directly proportional to how wonderful the last 31 years have been for your both.

I have never met either of you, but you are as dear to me as friends I've known since kindergarten. Be assured of my prayers.

I read your post out to my husband and although your post made us very sad it also made us think you and Lynn are very lucky people. You have had each other for 31 years. You are the lucky ones, you have both known what it is really like to be loved. And you are both are so unselfish, so full of light and love.

I don't have any words for what I want to say. The best I can do is say that I read your post yesterday and thought of you and what you and Lynn are currently going through many times today.

I have stopped in and read your posts many times over the last few days. Lynn has also read your posts many times.

Your caring, comforting and supportive words have meant much to us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Lynn has found tremendous comfort and solace in your words.

If anyone ever doubts that HW is a truly caring and supportive site, they have only to read this thread and the many other supportive threads like it, to truly understand the love of this community.

Thank you my brothers and sisters. Know that Lynn and I send our prayers and blessings to you and your families constantly.

Sonny, each time I read your news, I become quite sad. And yet, the courage you and Lynn show is so uplifting that it brings a sense of peace and belonging. You are teaching us all what love and devotion truly means.

I've followed your journey since the beginning. I've quietly celebrated your triumphs and felt sadness at your setbacks. Today's news is information I hoped would never come to pass. My heart goes out to you and Lynn. God bless you both.

I wish I had the words to offer you and Lynn the warmth, comfort and peace that you each deserve. I do know the deep love you each have for the other will never leave, and will grow even stronger as time goes by. You have been blessed with 31 plus years of time together, and so many people never have the chance to experience such love and devotion. Please know we are praying for each of you and your family.

Sonny I'm so sorry to read what you're going through. Reminds me when my father was very sick and my mother was trying to care for him.

You might want to think about seeing a psychologist, just to have someone to talk about this and sort through your thoughts.
