I just crossed one year post RP, and remain slightly incontinent. It's been frustrating dealing with the occasional leak, and having to always be prepared. My uro says kegel, but I've been desperate to DO SOMETHING to help. The kegels didn't seem to be helping much. A few weeks back, someone on this forum suggested leg lifts. I added them to my excercise routine, and I think it works!
So, if you are borderline continent, try doing leg lifts. With this disease, and the side effects of treatment, it's hard to determine a definitive cause/effect relationship with anything. But, I'm convinced the leg lifts improved continence. Maybe the docs don't know that yet. Or maybe I'm just nuts. Try it.
