Any of you guys Canadians that have had implant surgery-tried MUSE and tried Caverject with no success so now thinking of going bionic.Anyone out there gone that route.Am looking for a good surgeon.I live in ONtario.Also can compounding pharmacies mix trimix for Canadians?Sick of hitting the brick wall!

Dr Anthony Bella at the Ottawa Civic Hospital is the guy you want 613-761-4500. I went to him for trimix/bimix injections and they do have a compounding pharmacy right in the hospital that delivers. He's also one of the few doctors in Canada that specializes in implants.

He is extremely busy but my Uro said he's the best around for ED issues. I would get your name on his waiting list for implants then start with injections to see how that works for you.

- it is my understanding that with the implant - you do not need any meds - just pump it up.

- regarding meds - there are compounding pharmacies around the province of Ontario - it depends on where you are - google "compounding pharmacy" and Ontario and see what happens.

If you're in the London, Ontario region...St. Joseph's Hospital pharmacy filled all my Trimix scripts, on site. I don't know if they can "ship".

Snowbound-did u have implant surgery?I thought trimix was not available in Canada which is what my urologist told me.If the caverject did not work at full dose I am thinking trimix will not either?Anyone got any info on that?Have been totally confused -finally soem help .thank u guys!Anyone have the implant surgery in canada on here?

Your urologist was wrong, you can definitely get trimix in Canada. What part of Ontario are you in?

I didn't do the implant. When I first started with Dr Bela he talked about it but the injections worked for me, and I wasn't crazy about the idea anyway. He's very good about the training so you know that you're doing it right and getting the right dose. I started on trimix but switched to bimix because I'm one of the 1 in 20 who feel intense pain from the trimix.

my general gp gave me the prescription - where are you in Ontario - major city?

well I definitely feel like I got mad the run-around-my gp told me he could not prescribe trimix or caverject and that it was my urologist that had to prescribe it.Next my uro tells me trimix is not available in canada so gives me caverject and that doesn't work.

The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Scarborough, Ontario compounds Trimix/Bimix injections. Their phone number is 416 292 3396. I think they are the only sterile compounding pharmacy in Toronto East. They also deliver.
