Dino, welcome.
The main difference between robotic and open surgery is just the recovery time - if you are doing well, then things are good.
It is common to remove a couple of lymph nodes, to see if the cancer has spread. Sometimes they decide whether to proceed with the prostate removal based on the results, so it is likely that there was no cancer in the nodes. Did they give you the pathology yet? It will update your Gleason score, among other things. That catheter is a pain, isn't it? Actually, it was less of a problem than I thought it was going to be. It is good that you are off of the pain meds - I had troubles related to them that landed me back at the ER. The biggest hassle for most for the month or two after surgery is incontinence - let's hope you recover quickly, but don't be discouraged if it takes a couple/3 months - it will get better.
Hang around, others will give you their take shortly.
With a Gleason 7, odds are good that the surgery is all you will need to be cured, let's hope that is the case.
In my opinion, you made the right choice. Let's hope that is the case.
All my best
Jeff
