Meeting Dr. Sorace after my 41st radiation treament tomorrow. 4 Left

I will get my marching orders from Dr. Sorace at Dattoli tomorrow.  Radiation almost done and happy when it is over. Hormones tolerable if they cure this beast, if not bummer. 

Dattoli has been a great experience as far as any medical experience can be.  Professional, friendly staff that only treat PC. 

I am tired but continue to walk up to an hour a day out in the Florida heat just to try and keep up my stamina.

Last PSA was 2.6 after 1 week of Hormones and before Radiation.  Next test in 3 months so wait and see I guess.

wow, 45 treatments is a lot. my last bout with radiation was 39 rounds, the prior one was 35. you are doing very well if you can still walk that much in the heat, my hat is off to you. soon, this will be behind you, and i hope and trust all that radiation does a number on your remaining cancer.

radiation is definitely about being in an endurance contest, the finish line is finally in sight to you now, good going.

You're almost there!
Don't be surprised if it takes you a month to get over the SE. But it sounds like you are doing great.

That is a long run. Isn't good to be this close to the end?

I found waiting the three months for the first PSA test to be almost as annoying as the treatments. Almost but not as much. The SEs should fad soon.

You can see the barn and smell the oats. Finish line is in sight. I admire your motivation to get out and walk on these hot days. Hope the numbers continue to go downwardfor you.

No PSA test for 6 months. Sorace is just very confident that I am at zero.....Hormones and Radiation. HT for 12-18 more months....yuck.

Thanks for the update. I'm sure you are so happy to be nearing the end of your treatments. We are on the same path but are waiting for answers to some specific questions before we can move forward and unfortunately Dr. Myer's office is extremely unresponsive so we are in limbo. In fact we are considering contacting Dattoli directly at this point.

Anyway, glad to hear you are hanging in there. This is the worst possible time to be in South Florida! :) Please continue to post updates on your progress. Hearing that Dr. Sorace is confident that you are at zero has got to feel GREAT!
