Integrative Oncology ~ and update.

Very well thought out and attractive web site, Tony. This is the approach, I believe you talked about in the past, that includes all the different factors in a person's life when dealing with cancer. Not just the medical side, but more of the whole person approach? The first thing that popped up was "sugar". This is a thorn (for me at least) that I still struggle with daily.

One of the first things my oncologist ever advised me, even at the first meeting, was that I had to find a way to lay off my sugar intake. I do not dispute the wisdom and danger of sugar, but its very diffiuclt for me to bring under control. What smoking or drinking is to some men, sugar is to me. I grew up in a British household, where deserts were the order after every major meal. My father was a sugar junkie too.

I have tried to taper off, and I do good for awhile, but to me, its an absolute craving at times. Sugar free stuff doesnt work for me.

I will spend some more time at this site, and see what else I can pick up. But all in all, its a great site, hope others will use it too.
