Hi all:

Many here have mentioned auto injectors for  use with TriMix, etc. None of our pharmacies in my area seem to carry these.  I live in Canada, near the US border. Is there a brand name I should be checking out? Where can I find it? Can my usual script from my Uro be adapted or do I have to have a completely new script? Perhaps more light on this particular subject could be shared?

Jack, the auto injector is a unit that uses your current syringe and will push the plunger in for you. That's about all it does, other than hide the needle from view for the squeamish. There should be no need for altered scripts, etc. Most pharmacies can special order one for you at no big cost, or there's always Amazon. Look here for what they are:

I have an autoinjector right here. I can show you its operation at the GFMPH gathering. (Obviously not "In situ" so to speak.)

If you bring your syringes we can measure it up and you can decide the size you need.

Hmmm, I better explain myself- the big yellow cucumber is the result of leaving it in the garden too long, it's a southern thang, you may not understand it... or you can think zucinni.... cool devil redface turn

I bought my auto injector on Amazon the same one James C mentioned. I used it twice and now I free hand  as it was so easy with no pain. I think being stuck so many times this last year got rid of my needle fear. I can bring my auto injector to GFMPH and donate it to you.

I have been doing it myself but I figured that there has to be an easier way, especially after I saw what was available for Insulin injections. See you at GFMPH, but not too much of you Jeff. LOL!

Hey jack Lee Anglo here how's it going?presume your still doing ADt if your using trimix?I still hate ADt and have recently come off of it.will probably have to go back on it at some time purely for life preservation reasons lol but hey ho gona have a break n try to get my doc to go with esradil patches n see what response I get with that.

My pharmacist ordered me an Inject-Ease and I already have it. Showed me how to use it and am ready to begin. Certainly will make a one handed job easy. Thanks for your help guys. BTW. BD is no longer making the Inject-Ease. Replacement item has been recommended. I will post the name when I find this out.
