I haven't been around for a while so I thought I drop by with an up-date. My PSA has jumped from 2.91 - 18 in the last 90 days. Started high dose (150mg daily) casodex this morning. I'll re-test in 30. Also, finished radiation last Monday. No ill effects so far other than extreme fatigue. Other than that I feel great. Getting on a plane headed for Seattle Tue. for 4 weeks of fishing and photography. See you when I get back!

Here's to slowing of the numbers - a little less fatigue - good fishing - no bugs - good lighting ( enough batteries on hand) and happy PCa free days.

Should get you results quickly with lowered psa and maybe thereafter cut back to 50 mg useage. Got to watch out for breast enlargement issues, especially while on 150 mg use....you can take another drug to try and stop that or get light duty quick breast radiation(s) to stop growth, some guys waited way to long and ended up with breast surgery later (not pretty). You may have super fatigue with radiations just finished and 150 mg, but a good day fishing cannot be trumped. Also, learn what AAWD (anti-androgen withdrawal) is about, just in case you have a psa rise while on this. The best, let's fish.

Thanks for the tips zufus. Until now I was completely unaware of AAWD, or the breast enlargement issue.
I'll tell you, there are times when my Doc SUCKS!!! If I had gone along with his plan I wouldn't even know my PSA was still on the rise until the end of Nov.

On the up side, the fishing fanatic friend that I'm going to visit in Seattle says their catching really nice Rainbow trout in Lake Washington.

Will do Bud! I've been hanging out at the VA far to much lately, and I really need to forget about all this cancer crap for a few weeks. I've had a really bad attitude for the last couple months, and my friends and family have been to long on the receiving end of it. Time for an attitude adjustment!
