First of all welcome to our forum and sorry you have to be here. You have already gotten some good advice and opinions based on the posters own experiences. Peter's post was really enlightening as his biopsy history found none or very little cancer but his post pathology showed an aggressive G9 tumor that was extensive.
In my case only 2 of my 12 cores were positive for a G7 tumor which one would think was a small percentage of the prostate. After my RALP surgery my pathology showed 60% of my prostate was tumor involved and my prostate was a very large 60 grams in weight. None of this was indicated in the biopsy.
Spend some time with the URO and ask a lot of questions about watching the situation down the road. I would think another biopsy in a year if the PSA continues to rise would be a good diagnostic choice.
