Hi, Todd. I met David a few years ago at one of his disc golf tournaments and was quickly impressed with his lust for life. I watched him Hole in one a hole and he said, "you may never see that again." Sadly, he was right.I had the honor of doing a calender shoot with him last summer for PC survivors, joined with 10 other local survivors, for a local urology clinic. I got to be Mr.October, which saddens me, because that is the month that he and Mary made the decision to transition to hospice. I think I'll remember this every year as time goes on. I only live about 20 minutes from him and am sorry that I didn't spend more time with him. He has done so much local media to educate the men to get early testing, and his foundation FLHW, has raised over 220,000 dollars for advanced prostate cancer research. If those who read this want to know what kind of guy he is, then go to prostatecancerat42.blogspot.com, and read his story. He is one of the warriors we all hope to emulate.
