Using Tri mix after a heart Attack!!

 

Hello everyone,

This is my first post and have found much of the information in the forum very helpfull. I am 2 years out of Protate surgery and all clear.

I recently suffred a heart attack and wondered if its safe to use Trimix, I am taking Plavix on a daily basis.

Welcome to HW, sorry you have to join us. 2 years, huh? That's great and a very good start. Here's wishing you the same for a lifetime.

As Raddad suggested, that's a question for your heart doc. I don't recall that being asked here, so there's probably not much anyone can add, except for info on what their doc said, which still isn't what your heart and particular doc knows.

You should ask your doctor. He'll say no because you can't sue him for saying no. My non-medical opinion is that a glass or two probably won't hurt (I might have done that myself, actually, and it seemed OK) but if you wind up missing and shooting theTrimix into your thumb -- that's too much wine.

Not sure what you mean, do any members have a few glasses of wine then use Tri mix? if so what has been the experience if any
