Woo Hoo! Got the news yesterday. Still undetectable at 14 mos. after surgery. I see the Uro later this month. Hopefully I'll get to go 6 mos. before the next test (he had me at 4 months interval due to the "indeterminate" status and probably the Gleason 3+4).

Thanks Steve and overthepond and Rivergirl. Sometimes I hesitate to post results but then I think it may be nice for those with more recent surgery to see that things can work out well.

It's also nice because you all are the only folks who understand both the anxiety AND the relief when things go well. Plus, I gotta admit, it's nice to see it in print! smilewinkgrin

Startech - you're the only other "indeterminate" I've noticed here. I was very concerned originally, when my Uro reviewed the results after surgery and asked him what he thought about it. He said something like, "well, we've removed the blood flow and created a hostile environment, so I think you'll be fine, but we should still check frequently."

That made me feel somewhat better, but it's still in the back of my mind every time a new PSA test approaches. But - so far, so good.

I am so glad for you Amick, but we have to keep in mind-there are those with no margins and sometimes it still comes back. So we are not alone really. This PCa is so unpredictable. Then there are those that have positive margins and it never comes back. I would say go figure, but no one really can. I am waiting for my results today, so hopefully I will get to post a good news thread like you. Keep my seat in the zero club warm, will ya?

But if I have to leave the club, I am already ready to continue the fight and have been for some time now. It is what it will be, and I am prepared.

Funny you should mention being prepared for any necessary "next steps". I feel the same way, hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Easy to say, I know, but I really feel that way. Not saying I like it, but I do it.

Purgatory - Thank you. FWIW, thoughts and prayers are sent your way whenever you give an update. I'm looking forward to hearing some good news for a change - you certainly are overdue for it.
