Less than 6 months before the 5 year mark, and little has changed since the RRP. I still read Zero's,so that's a plus.

Incontinence is no issue, however I do now sit down rather than get tired standing waiting for the dribble end. As most know, it's not the same.

My little pal has been asleep since the surgery except for a RARE appearance during the middle of the night, but they can all be counted on the fingers of one hand. This, despite the fact that my surgeon claimed he saved one nerve bundle.

I did get an invite about a year back to join a discussion about ED, but it turned out to be a sales pitch for installing hydraulics into Junior, and as useless as he is, I can't EVER see myself doing that to him.

The pills never even made him curious, and the pump did it's job, but what good was it while encased in a test tube?

I have been convince for years that Trimix was Juniors only hope, but the combination of my Doctor not wanting to discuss anything but hydraulics, and envisioning stabbing Junior with a needle always put the brakes on any action.

It was nice to learn that Junior appreciated the attention I gave him now and then just to prove to myself that I wasn't a complete eunuch, but this of course does little for ML who also lost Junior when I did.

Little Billy's fear of needles has diminished slightly, especially since I get stabbed every 3 month's for routine blood tests. I STILL cringe when I think about stabbing Junior, but I think it's time to wake him up and make ML happy again. We'll see.

As for Healing Well; I was pleasantly surprised to see many of the same people here, that were here for me 5 years ago. My suggestions to the "Newbies" is to take the old timers advice as seriously as I took it, and to be comfortable in the knowledge that they are here for you and will NOT lead you astray.

Billy, welcome back and thanks loads for the update. I'm glad to hear things are well with you, and maybe you've turned the corner in looking to the needle... tongue It really won't be that big of a deal, and there's lots of guys here who can help guide you along until you relax with it. The act itself is unnerving the first time or two, I know my first time it took me 20 minutes to finally build up the courage to do it. The injection itself was an anticlimax to the dread and fear of doing it. so go ahead and start studying and preparing for it. Do you anticipate any problems getting the prescription from your doc? If so, look around for ED specialists who will be willing to work with you. Good luck, keep us informed....

Congrats at being almost 5 years out!

The needle will wake up your little pal...it may also still help get you to a point where oral drugs have an effect.

Good luck and don't fear the injections...

Thanks guys, helpful as usual.

I probably wouldn't consider the needle, but ML is an RN, so I wouldn't have to poke the little fellow myself. I'm dead sure that would not happen regardless of how long Junior slept on.

She keeps telling me it's a little bitty teeny weenie needle, but still...

Anyhow, my uro has almost a dozen Dr's in his Office, and ML says to just go to one who will write the Rx.

I assume the Compounding Pharmacy in FL is still in business?

I also heard a few years back that oral Trimix was in the works. True?
