I have tried 1000mg urethral stick with some success, I manage to achieve a 75% erection with this dose, just not quite hard enough.!! Has anybody tried to up the dose by using 2 applications one of 1000mg and another immediatley after of 125/250 mg ? would the extra dose above the 1000mg prove effective and more importantly will it be safe

Not many here have tried it, but those who have may drop by to offer their experience. In the meantime, have your tried the needle variety of injections yet?

Thanks for the reply, yes I have tried the caverject dual chamber 20 microgram.I found it works better than the MUSE,its simply that I am looking for something that is easier to use,I am not needle adverse, I simply that I find the MUSE more spontaneous.

Davy,

Guys going thru the MUSE phase will regularly double up with lesser dose sticks (the Uro usually starting with 500mcg) When the low dose does not work they want to see if 500+500 will work better so they double em.

I've never gone beyond 1000mcg for MUSE but when I used Trimix-Gel they made a 1500mcg version that I used -- and it was better than the 1000mcg MUSE or 1000mcg Trimix-gel for me. (Don't ask where to get Trimix Gel -- don't know anymore).

So I assume you have some 250s laying around not doing anything? The only downside to knowing 1250mcg works better is that it will cost two-times-the-ridiculously-expensive-MUSE-price. And once you use up your old stash of 250s you won't be getting more and will be stuck with your 6x1000mcg per month.

So like JamesC says .. maybe after using em up go to Trimix where you can easily up the dose -- and a lot less cost too. (And Caverject is almost as expensive as MUSE right? -- if you use up the whole dose in one shot).

I get where you are coming from,living in the UK for 6 months a year I am able to get all my meds free, on our much spoken about national health service,so I am able to experiment some what, I have not heard of Trimix Gel over this side .but I will run that past the Doc on my next visit.

I get about a 75% erection with a 1000 dose of muse also.

I have doubled up the dose but it didnt seem to make any difference.

Pity, cos I find it easy to use unlike the dreaded needle...

How many MUSE sticks do they allow you per month? USA it is usually only 6 per 30 days. And retail price that would be $300 -- with insurance is around 50-70 (but for me a 90 day supply is only $90 since the shipping is fixed).

You can ask your doc about Trimix Gel but it is a USA only product - and even in the US it is little known. And now that Amer Pharmacy Solutions has been bought up by another company they don't even make it anymore (or maybe the parent company does but I have not inquired). There's no website information anymore either.
