I guess the question is: do PCAs become super aggressive / metastatic in such a short period of time? I feel a bit selfish asking this question as so many of you have been through a lot worse.
Thanks for listening,
Chris.
Welcome to our little corner of the world and sorry you need to be here. This is a place to be selfish and ask questions for you so ask all you want. We'll be here to listen to you. Sometime we've even got an answer or two.
I don't have an answer to your question but with PC I've heard of just about
anything. While not normal to be a very aggressive cancer it does happen from time to time.
The good news you're starting out early to see what's wrong. The biopsy is the thing you need now. and that's the problem - waiting and all the possibilities play on your mind. Especially with the history you've had in the family. There are so many possibilities for you right now that I won't speculate but if it does turn out to the be the worst you've caught it early enough to get an aggressive treatment.
There's always hope and I think you'll be fine. Let us know what the biopsy says.
All the best,
Andrew
