Davidg: I have followed up yopur Yananow suggestion.
James: thought it better to remove a couple of photos. (but, on the basis of the number of viewings, I have a feeling that, like you did, a few guys found the original, more explicit, version of the blog without the link.)
Mike: for my sins I used to work for British Rail, but with a model railway you can be a megalomaniac and run everything by yourself!
Chris: should you wish to go to Rye again my Radar disability handbook says there are disabled WCs (and thus probably ordinary WCs) in Rye at:
Gun Gardens,
Lucknow Place
Rye Harbour
Station Approach, Crownfield
and The Strand
The guide book is a great help, although it lists places by region and then in order of local authority area and not by county: Rye thus gets listed under "Rother" in the section about
South East England. When somewhere as big as Folkestone can't be found because it's listed under "Shepway" not Kent you want to take pen to paper to tell the makers of the guide to rethink things.
(Fortunately there is an index too).
If you want to buy a copy of the guide yourself plus the key to be able to access the locked disabled toilets have a look at:
