Hi all,this year has been very painfull for me.

Last month I lost my best friend,and this morning I lost my mom.

my mom was 87 years old,and I thank God for blessing me which such a

wonderfull mother;it hurt a lot but at the same time my sould in in peace becouse  she is now with GOD and will no suffer any more. sad

I so sorry for your loss. What blessing to have a mother that was able to live for 87 years. I hope that you will always have wonderful memories of her and the special place she holds in your life. May you have comfort today.

Wow, that is a tough couple of months. I hope you find the strength to get through this hard time and be lifted up by the memories you have of them.

Gold Horse, please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.  I'm sure your mother's passing was eased by the knowledge that she had raised such a loving son.  May she rest in peace.

I'm very sorry to hear that you lost you mom this morning, gold horse. She is in God's hands now.

It is the character that is the stongest that God gives the greatest challenges to.

Not to take anything away from what you are experiencing, but last year I also experienced what you are now feeling when I started a thread I titled: 3 bad years.

Sorry for your loss, I also lost my 96 year old Mum this year, and two of my friends to cancer.

what a blessing you had in your life to have had such a wonderful mother. And now, like you said, she is free from pain and looking out for you and you eventual reunion. I like you, was blessed with as I called my Mother, the Mother of all Mothers. I can't imagine how I would have turned out without my mother and her teaching proper principles in life to try and be the best I can be.
When my Mom passed last Thanksgiving, there was a huge void in the universe and as of today, there is still a huge void in the universe. I still want to pick up the phone and call her, but know she is near-by and watching over my entire family.

Gold Horse, I lost my mother 6 years ago,it's a horrible thing.
But,you'll always have those memories unique to you both.

So sorry for your terrible loss. I hope you can find comfort in all your wonderful memories. Death at any age is so painful. Unfortunately death is a part of living.

Very sorry to hear of the death of your mother and your friend. That has to leave a big hole in your heart, may they both R.I.P. May your heart be comforted over time.

Goldhorse and others that have suffered losses, we are in the same boat.  Since being diagnosed with PCa a little over two years ago my wife has been extensively treated for breast cancer, both my parents pased away at ages 93 and 94, and my first niece passed away after a two year fight against apendiceal cancer at age 43 leaving four young children.   Only God knows why these happen and inspite of the losses we must soldier on for those that are still with us.   Our thoughts and prayers are with you tonight.

Just saw your post, I am so very sorry for the loss of your friend and now your mother. I live with the thought of losing mine, she is 85 years old.

Sorry for you loss.
There used to be a time when ones friends, family aquaintances were all getting married or having kids etc. Now I seem to have reached a moment when I just keep hearing about folk getting seriously ill or dying. I guess that's life and all we can take comfort in is, is that this is the right oprder of things: it is better to be being a grown up coping with the death of a parent than to be a parent coping with the death of a child.
