I have been through all of the incontinence stuff including implanting a sling and an AUS. I tried getting off all kinds of stuff but can't say any of it made a real difference.
Now, with my AUS I drink 2-3 cups of half decaf/half regular before noon and start the day with one glass of low acid orange juice.
Although I can prove it I think the suggestion of drinking water to dilute the effect of acid or caffine is good advice. That seems to help also.
I am also one of those guys who can only hold about 200-300ml before needing to go. This means about every 2-3 hours depending on fluid intake morning and night.
Bottom line for me is to enjoy life and find what works for you. A lot of trial and error is necessary for most of us. We are not all the same. And, yo learn more here about this than you ever from the medical community.
