Just a reminder that this survey takes only Healing Well PC guys into account, which is neat in itself. But, it certainly isn't accurate for all PC guys. The breakdown is more like this:
<45 - 1%
45-54 - 9%
55-64 - 30%
65-74 - 35%
74-84 - 20%
>85 - 5%

I was diagnosed when I was a young man, last October at the age of 59. I am now 60 and much, much older. That's what I hate about PCa: it makes a man feel old.

Diagnosed at 47
Started watching PSA climb from 3.7 at 42.
Also my 1st post.
I whole heartily believe that PSA tests should start way earlier.

Everyone, please be sure to click on the survey (the poll itself) and answer it there, too, besides your response in the comments.
I was diagnosed at 43, after about 5 years of suspicion, PSA tests, and biopsies. Treated with surgery and radiation at 44.
Doing fine now. I'll have a PSA test later this month, which will be at the 6 year mark from when I started SRT. If undetectable, I will celebrate January 18th as my "second birthday" since it was the day I was given a second chance--"recalled to life" as Dickens would say.
