The thing about
oncologists is the more they know the less they know. A doctor who knows the current standard treatments can make an estimate of how long a patient might live, but a doctor who knows something more about
treatments that are in the pipeline being developed knows that it will be a new world in 5 or 6 years and, at that point, who knows how long a patient might live if he makes it that far?
With aggressive metastatic cancer certainly is not your friend. Your uncle should look for an expert on advanced PCa who will offer him fewer certainties. Uncertainty is another word for hope.
