'Breaking the seal' doesn't exist, but booze does make you pee

You’re out with friends, the drinks are flowing, when all of sudden you feel that pang. The urge. The need. The ... uh, we’ll be right back. You’ve broken the seal, and thus begins a night of frequent trips to free the pee. Or does it? Scientists took the piss out of yet another urban myth, looking into whether “breaking the seal” is an actual phenomenon. Nope. But, as you might have noticed, alcohol does indeed intensify the need to urinate. Alcohol blocks vasopressin, an anti-diuretic hormone, and decreases ADH, which regulates water in your kidneys, thus causing the dams to burst and the levees to fail.

so this drunk walks into a bar and orders a beer. Then he walks to the restroom and starts pouring the beer into the urinal. Another man in the restroom sees this and says, "What are you doing with that beer?"

Friday night I had four beers and dinner. I bet I had to pee seven times.

Last night I did the same thing - four beers and dinner. Only peed one time before heading home....

I always thought that once you start having to pee - you open the flood gate.

Now, I guess that last night, I was dehydrated from the night before?!?!?!?

I agree with BillinChicago. Hydration helps, and it also wards off hangovers.
