Men's Retreat is a a first-of-its-kind documentary produced by PCF. It chronicles the emotions and issues faced by prostate cancer patients. Men's Retreat was filmed during a three-day period when twelve patients and survivors were assembled in Washington, D.C. Their discussions are frank and from the heart and may help other men diagnosed with the disease and their caregivers understand that they are not alone.

it's good. seen it.

I cannot agree with them on acceptance though. Maybe because i'm 20-25 years younger than them.

I fear it coming back, I don't accept it.

There are plenty of things that happened in my life that were inevitable but that I didn't accept nonetheless. Doesn't mean I can't move on.

Didn't plan to watch the whole thing, but ended up doing so. It would be good for those around me to see this. I need to figure out how to make that happen.

very good discussion and agree with you david on the acceptance...a lot tougher to accept at a younger age....cant imagine doing it at 40. Seemed like a diverse group of men as well. Also agree with you upstate on this being a great thing for family or friends to see....as far as understanding what we go through.

I agree, I wish they had people much younger. Would at least to see or talk to someone who got diagnosed in their 30's like myself....

Dan Zenka himself posted today about a docu. Probably this one as I think I recognized him in this video. It's very good, no doubt.

Casper, 50 is very young too. You're in my ballpark. Most of the guys here are my dad's peers :)
