Yes, this is exactly the place and video for the procedure that I am considering. Dr. Crawford is the Director and I am probably going with him. But, Barqawi is second on the list, so he might be doing it, which is fine. They are both top notch. Please give me a little more information about
the procedure and you after effects. I see you had to have a catheter. How long in the hospital? Next day, were you up to moving around and sitting for any length of time? Anything that you can pass along would be helpful, since I am traveling from Los Angeles. That's why I was looking for any local recommendations. But, none so far.
First of all Crawford is the director and Barqawi is his director of research. Although Dr Barqawi moved his office from urologic oncology to the urology section a couple of years ago. I have to see him in a few weeks for my annual check up this will be for 5 years now. To learn best about
the TFT and biopsy just watch the video below from the same site. It's an award winning video done by a local TV newsman about
his Pca and search for a treatment resulting in TFT and the 3 d saturation biopsy you must do first. You'll notice that although Crawford was the newsmans doctor, Barqawi did his biopsy and TFT. I had a catheter for a day after the biopsy, and one for 4 days after the TFT, that's all. I went home the day of the 3 d biopsy but Barqawi kept me overnight after TFT only because I live alone and he wanted to have some one observe me over night. I was moving around fine except for the god awful catheter, after 4 days I removed it and just felt a little sore for two weeks. I also cut down my walk to 2 from 4 miles the first week after TFT. I was playing golf 2 days after the catheter came out. If you want to talk more about
it just email me your phone number. But watch the 3 part video first and realize how lucky I was to stumble across it being broadcasted a few weeks after my initial diagnosis. Bottom line me and one other here still remain the two most successfully treated guys here. My only side effect is perhaps a 60% loss of ejaculant. No incontinence at all for I still have a working but now smaller prostate.
